AM Naik Steps Down As LTIMindtree Chairman, SN Subrahmanyan To Take Over

A M Naik steps down as LTIMindtree Chairman, effective June 26, 2024. Vice-Chairman S N Subrahmanyan will succeed him, starting June 27, 2024, following his key role in the company’s growth

Industry veteran A M Naik has announced his decision to step down as Chairman of LTIMindtree, effective June 26, 2024. The company’s board has appointed S N Subrahmanyan, currently the Vice-Chairman, as the new Chairman, with his term starting on June 27, 2024.

Last year, Naik stepped down as Non-Executive Chairman of Larsen & Toubro (L&T), with SN Subrahmanyan succeeding him. Despite stepping down, Naik remained actively engaged with the company as Chairman of the employees’ trust, advisor to the board and Chairman of the two IT subsidiaries, including L&T Technology Services Ltd (LTTS), up until now.

S N Subrahmanyan, joined the Board of L&T Infotech on January 10, 2015 and was appointed Vice-Chairman on May 4, 2017. He has played a crucial role in the company’s growth through his guidance. Subrahmanyan was also instrumental in the acquisition of Mindtree in 2019 and subsequently led the merger of L&T Infotech and Mindtree.
