Bata India has announced the appointment of Durgesh Singh as its Chief Financial Officer (CFO), effective 1 December 2024.
A seasoned professional with over 20 years of experience, Durgesh Singh is both a qualified Chartered Accountant and Company Secretary. He has been a key part of Bata India’s finance team for the past nine years, contributing significantly to the company’s strategic financial operations.
Durgesh’s expertise spans finance, strategy, compliance, taxation, treasury, business planning, and commercial operations. Prior to joining Bata, he held leadership roles at renowned organizations such as Bharti Airtel, Apollo Tyres, and the Aditya Birla Group, demonstrating strong strategic and operational acumen.
