Arvind names Swayam Saurabh as new CFO

A Charted Accountant by qualification, he has worked with OLA previously as their CFO

Swayam Saurabh stepped into his new role as CFO of Arvind on March 22, 2022, the company has announced in a regulatory filing. Saurabh has replaced Jayesh Shah who will continue as a full-time director of Arvind and Group CFO. Before joining Arvind, Saurabh was CFO at ride-hailing app Ola. A chartered accountant by qualification, Saurabh has over two decades of experience in finance and accounts among other areas. He has previously worked as CFO of Philips (Asia Pacific) as well has Hindustan Zinc, and has worked for Asian Paints as well as Larsen & Toubro. 

Saurabh’s appointment was approved at a Arvind’s board meeting on Tuesday. The same meeting gave the board of directors’ approval for the reappointment of Lalbhai as CMD for five years until March 31, 2027. Following the board’s approval, the reappointment of  Lalbhai will be subject to the approval of members of the company, as per the filing.
