Dish TV India Appoints Amit Kumar Verma As CFO
Dish TV India has announced the retirement of Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Rajeev Kumar Dalmia, effective September 30, 2024. Amit Kumar Verma will succeed him as CFO effective October 1, 2024.
Dish TV India has announced the retirement of Rajeev Kumar Dalmia, the Chief Financial Officer and Key Managerial Personnel, effective at the close of business on September 30, 2024. The company has also approved the appointment of Amit Kumar Verma as the new Chief Financial Officer and Key Managerial Personnel in the Senior Management category, effective October 1, 2024.
Verma brings over 22 years of extensive experience in finance, taxation, fundraising, compliance and treasury management. He has been with Dish TV since January 2010, serving as the Head of Treasury & Taxation, where he has played a critical role in managing key financial functions, including business strategy, banking, financial planning, annual budgeting, cash flow management, compliance and taxation.
Before joining Dish TV, Verma held positions at CNBC TV18, Mahanagar Telephone Nigam and Ray & Ray Chartered Accountants. His vast expertise positions him as a vital contributor to the company’s financial performance and strategic decision-making. Verma is a qualified Chartered Accountant and holds a Bachelor of Law (LLB) degree and a Bachelor of Business Administration, along with several certifications, including International Financial Reporting Standards from ICAI.
