Nissan CFO Stephen Ma To Step Down
Nissan Motor Co.’s Chief Financial Officer, Stephen Ma, is expected to step down, marking another leadership change during a difficult period for the company
As per media reports, it’s unclear if Ma will leave the company entirely or take on a different role, as no official announcement has been made. This follows the departure of Ashwani Gupta as Chief Operating Officer (COO) 17 months ago and recent news of 9,000 job cuts and a 20 per cent reduction in manufacturing capacity.
With Ma’s departure, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Makoto Uchida will be the company’s only remaining senior executive.
