Philips Names Bharath Sesha As New Managing Director For Indian Subcontinent
Philips has appointed Bharath Sesha as the new Managing Director for the Indian Subcontinent, effective September 1, 2024.
In his new role, Bharath will lead Philips’ growth initiatives in India, focusing on enhancing customer satisfaction and driving operational excellence. He will oversee the Healthcare business headquartered in Gurgaon and be responsible for Philips’ Licence to Operate in India, including the Philips Innovation Campus (PIC) in Bangalore, the Healthcare Innovation Centre (HIC) in Pune, and Global Business Services (GBS) in Chennai.
Bharath succeeds Daniel Mazon, who served as Vice Chairman and Managing Director for the Philips Indian Subcontinent until April 1, 2024, before transitioning to a global role at Philips’ headquarters in the Netherlands.
With over two decades of global experience, Bharath brings deep expertise in the Indian market, particularly in the pharmaceutical and chemical sectors, with a strong background in strategic leadership, business development, and operational excellence.
