Preetha McCann, CFO, Selfridges has resigned just after four months
Selfridges, the famous British department store, is facing another shakeup in its financial leadership. Just four months after taking the role, McCann has resigned. This news comes during a period of uncertainty for Selfridges, as they grapple with finding a new co-owner following the bankruptcy of their previous partner.
McCann confirmed her departure in a statement on LinkedIn, where she said, “I have stepped away from my role as CFO at Selfridges. The brand is a magical one that I have always and will continue, to love. Sending a big shout out and thanks to the amazing people in the finance, merchandising and legal teams who I enjoyed working with.”
