STT GDC Appoints Bimal Khandelwal As CEO For India
ST Telemedia Global Data Centres (STT GDC), a leading provider of data centre colocation services based in Singapore, has announced the appointment of Bimal Khandelwal as the new Chief Executive Officer (CEO) for STT GDC India, effective October 5.
Bimal succeeds Sumit Mukhija, who has chosen to step down to pursue personal interests after leading the company’s Indian operations since 2016.
In his new role, Bimal will spearhead digital transformation initiatives for businesses and enterprises across India. Prior to this, he served as Chief Financial Officer for STT GDC India.
With over 25 years of experience, Bimal has been instrumental in the company’s expansion strategy, driving sustainable growth and responsible development. Since joining STT GDC India in 2017, he has played a pivotal role in strengthening financial processes, governance practices, and capital procurement strategies. Bimal is also deeply involved in the company’s CSR and ESG efforts, demonstrating a people-centric leadership approach.
His prior leadership roles include positions at Idea Cellular, Aircel Ltd. (Maxis Group), Tata Teleservices, and Birla Sun Life, giving him a well-rounded background in diverse industries.
