Akasa Air To Start Bengaluru-Pune Flights From 23 Nov

Due to heavy and continuously rising demand, the connectivity between Bengaluru and Mumbai will witness an increase with a sixth and seventh frequency from 23 November. The Akasa Air will initiate a second frequency in the route from 26 November, after beginning its services between Bengaluru and Pune on 23 November. In total 20 daily flights will be offered by Akasa Air from Bengaluru connecting seven cities viz. Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Delhi, Chennai, Kochi, Guwahati and Pune

The Akasa Air will begin flights for Pune from 23 November. This will be the ninth destination city in the new airline’s network.

The carrier began its operations on 7 August and today it expects to cross around 58 daily flights and 400 weekly flights by the November end, according to a release on 2 November.

In total 20 daily flights will be offered by Akasa Air from Bengaluru connecting seven cities viz. Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Delhi, Chennai, Kochi, Guwahati, and Pune, said the release.

The Co-Founder and Chief Commercial Officer of Akasa Air, Praveen Iyer said that along with affordable fares, connecting the two most important IT hubs being Pune and Bengaluru, will offer boosted connectivity and options.

The Akasa Air has been progressively levelling up its operations covering 13 routes across 9 cities being Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Kochi, Chennai, Mumbai, Delhi, Guwahati, Agartala and Pune.
