One-Year Work Experience Mandatory For Govt Jobs In Goa: CM
The aspirants must have an experience by working in the private sector before applying for government jobs in Goa. Such practice would extend some help to the government to get skilled manpower, the chief minister said
The chief minister of Goa Pramod Sawant said that at least one-year work experience would be made “compulsory” for recruitment purpose in state government departments, on 8 November.
He said that recruitment of fresh candidates would not made directly to the government service. The aspirants must have an experience by working in the private sector before applying for government jobs in Goa.
Sawant said at least one-year work experience would be mandatory for those seeking government jobs in the future, while addressing a function at Taleigao village in North Goa.
Such practice would extend some help to the government to get skilled manpower, the chief minister said.
All the necessary amendments would be made in the Recruitment Rules (RRs) in order to make ensure that only suitable and eligible candidates are selected for vacant posts, the CM added.
Also, Sawant said that recruitment made via the Staff Selection Commission would be made compulsory in the future.
