Kapish Jain is IIFL Finance’s New CFO

Kapish Jain is appointed as CFO succeeding Rajesh Rajak who resigned to pursue his career outside of IIFL Finance, with effect from 1 November. He is a chartered accountant who comes with two decades of working experience in the banking and financial services industry covering areas of finance, strategy, treasury, investor relations, accounts etc

The non-banking financial company (NBFC) IIFL Finance, backed by the Fairfax and Capital Group, appointed Kapish Jain as their company’s Chief Financial Officer (CFO), with effect from 1 November, the company said during a regulatory filing. 

Kapish is a chartered accountant who comes with two decades of working experience in the banking and financial services industry covering areas of finance, strategy, treasury, investor relations, accounts etc. He is appointed as CFO succeeding Rajesh Rajak who resigned to pursue his career outside of IIFL Finance.

IIFL Finance in a statement during filing said, “Based on the recommendations of the Nomination and Remuneration Committee and the Audit Committee, the appointment of Kapish Jain (currently Deputy Chief Financial Officer), as the Chief Financial Officer and Key Managerial Personnel of the Company to take over from Rajesh Rajak who has resigned from the services of the Company, has been confirmed by the Board.”

Previously, he was the deputy CFO at IIFL Finance. Also, he has worked as CFO at PNB Housing Finance and Xander Finance and Chief Treasury Officer at AU Financiers. His working experience include senior roles at ICICI Prudential Life Insurance, Deutsche Bank and Reliance Retail.
