Gold Gains Rs 30, Silver Jumps Rs 856 Amid Rise In Rupee

The gold price in the national capital surged Rs 30 to Rs 52,731 per 10 grams on 22 November after the rupee appreciated, according to media reports.

The rupee appreciated by 14 paise to 81.65 as against the US dollar during early trade on 22 November as the American currency lowered from its elevated levels.
The gold was up at USD 1,741.95 per ounce whereas the silver was traded higher at USD 21.05 per ounce, in the international market.
According to market analysts, the COMEX gold is being traded nearly at USD 1,740 as the dollar showed lower. The traders are waiting for the Federal Reserve’s minutes due tomorrow for hints on the central bank’s monetary policy tightening path.
