The Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi said that new India is focusing on bold reforms, big infrastructure and best talent on 2 November.
The entire world is confident about strong Indian economy’s fundamentals even at the time of global economic uncertainty, said PM while giving the inaugural address through video conferencing at the three-day Global Investors’ Meet (GIM), ‘Invest Karnataka 2022’.
He said, ” India is growing rapidly in spite of existing global uncertainties,”
The Prime Minister said that with the same political party in the government serving both in the State and Centre, Karnataka has the “double engine” power.
“The first name which comes to our mind is “Brand Bengaluru”, whenever speaking about talent and technology,” said Modi.
At the inaugural function, the Governor Thawaarchand Gehlot and Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai along with Union Ministers Nirmala Sitharaman, Piyush Goyal, Pralhad Joshi and Rajeev Chandrasekhar, too marked their presence.
According to officials, this edition of GIM is being held on the line of role that Karnataka aims to play in the global supply chain, under the theme Build for the World.
The key topics that would be discussed during the event will cover nearly the sub-themes of innovation, sustainability, equity and resilience, officials added.
