Sanjay Kaushal Becomes CFO of Indian Oil Corporation

Kaushal took charge as the CFO role succeeding Sandeep Kumar Gupta who was Director Finance at Indian oil. He is a fellow member of Institute of Cost Accountant of India and Institute of Company Secretaries of India.

The state-run fuel retailer Indian Oil Corporation Limited appoints Sanjay Kaushal as the new Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of the Company, with effect from October 3.

Kaushal took charge as the CFO role succeeding Sandeep Kumar Gupta who was Director Finance at Indian oil. Sandeep now took charge as Chairman & Managing Director (CMD) at GAIL Limited.

Informing the exchanges during regulatory filing, Indian oil said, “Director (Finance) (DIN-07570165) has ceased to be Director (Finance) of the Company with effect from 3 October 2022 (Afternoon) consequent upon his appointment as Chairman & Managing Director (CMD) on the Board of GAIL (India) Limited.”

Before this appointment Kaushal was heading the Corporate Affairs and Taxation Department of IndianOil and held the position of Executive Director (Corporate Affairs & Taxation). He has also served at various locations of IndianOil like Mathura Refinery, Barauni Refinery, Refinery Head office and corporate office.

Being a law graduate and and Certified Financial Analyst, he also holds fellow Membership of Institute of Cost Accountant of India and Institute of Company Secretaries of India.

The PSU in a clarification during exchange filing stated that Kaushal is not related to any other Director/ Key Managerial Personnel (KMP) of the company (complying the Companies law rule).
