Varun Suthra Appointed As FIVB Commission Member
Marking India’s rising global presence in sports administration, Varun Suthra has been appointed as a member of the Fédération Internationale de Volleyball (FIVB) Communications Commission. This appointment was approved by the FIVB Board of Administration during its first meeting for the 2024–2028 Olympic cycle, following the 39th FIVB World Congress.
The FIVB, the apex governing body for volleyball worldwide, represents 222 member countries and plays a pivotal role in the global development of the sport. The FIVB’s commissions and councils provide guidance in critical areas such as coaching, legal frameworks, medical science and communication strategies.
