Zydus will continue to market the medication under the brand names Lipaglyn and Bilypsa, which it launched. Aman Mehta, director of Torrent Pharmaceuticals, stated that the agreement will strengthen the company’s gastroenterology business.
It also stated that Torrent will pay Zydus milestone payments contingent on reaching pre-established milestones as well as upfront licencing fees.
