Hero, Avon And VAP Group To Invest Rs 3000 Crores In UP
Representatives of these companies met the UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Wednesday at his official residence. During the meeting, they discussed the possibilities of investment in various sectors in Uttar Pradesh, as well as expressed enthusiasm for participation in the Global Investors Summit 2023
Uttar Pradesh is all set to have an investment of Rs 3000 from some of the biggest industrial names in the country. The Hero group, Avon group, Suryansh Group and VAP group have expressed interest in investing nearly Rs 3000 crores in UP. According to official information, the representatives of these companies met the UP Chief Minister and have already shown their inclination at investing in the state.
Representatives of these companies met the UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Wednesday at his official residence. During the meeting, they discussed the possibilities of investment in various sectors in Uttar Pradesh, as well as expressed enthusiasm for participation in the Global Investors Summit 2023. The Avon Cycle Group proposed an investment of Rs 500 crore, Hero Group of Rs 350 crore, WAP Group of Rs 2000 crore and Suryansh Group of Rs 100 crore in the state. Those present in the meeting included CMD of Hero Cycles Pankaj Munjal, CMD of Avon Cycles Omkar Singh Pahwa, CMD & CEO, WAP Group Amit Sharma and representatives from Boiler Group, Suryansh Group and ESD Digital Group.
The Chief Minister promised all support to these companies for setting up their businesses in UP. He said that industrial development is being carried out in the state through policy driven governance by formulating around 25 policies to attract investment in various sectors. These include IT/ITeS, Data Centre, ESDM, Defense & Aerospace, Electric Vehicles, Warehousing & Logistics, Tourism, Textile, MSME, etc. He added that the state is aiming at providing ease of business to attract more investors.
