Nykaa founder and billionaire Falguni Nayar appreciated Arvind Agarwal for the crucial role he played in Nykaa’s emergence as a listed and profitable start-up. The company said that it is now in the process of appointing a new Chief Financial Officer.
The fashion and beauty platform Nykaa, runs by FSN E-Commerce Ventures, announced the resignation of its chief financial officer (CFO) Arvind Agarwal on 23 November.
Nykaa during a BSE filing said, “This is to inform you Arvind Agarwal, Chief Financial Officer of FSN E-Commerce Ventures will be leaving the company, effective close of business hours on 25 November 2022, to pursue other opportunities in the digital economy and start-up space.”
Agarwal commenting on his resignation said that it was great to be a part of the incredible Nykaa journey so far. All his learning and experiences till date, have set him up for pursuing various other personal growth opportunities in the digital economy and start-up space. He extended his wishes to Nykaa for the growth path ahead and said that he will always be a part of the Nykaa Family.

Nayar reacting on the resignation said that even though we regret losing him, we are conscious of his personal dreams and wish him all the luck for future.
After working with Amazon, Agrawal had joined Nykaa. The company said that it is now in the process of appointing a new CFO. The shares of the new-age stock ended 4.55 per cent lower at Rs 175.20, amid probable block deals.
