Bandhan Bank Loans, Advances Witness Surge Of 22% To Rs 99,374 Cr Q2FY23
Total deposits of the private sector lender rose by 21 per cent to Rs 99,365 crore at end of September quarter 2022, as against Rs 81,898 crore a year ago
Bandhan Bank reported increase in loans and advances on 8 October by 22 per cent to Rs 99,374 crore at the September quarter 2022 end. Last year during same period, the Bank’s loans and advances stood at Rs 81,661 crore.
Its total deposits representing private sector lender increased by 21 per cent to Rs 99,365 crore September quarter 2022 end, as compared to Rs 81,898 crore a year ago.
Out of this, its retail deposits too rose by 7 per cent to Rs 73,660 crore, which was Rs 68,787 crore a year ago.
Current account and savings account (CASA) included in the retail deposit, went up to Rs 40,509 crore by 11 per cent from a year earlier.
The CASA ratio recorded at 30 September 2022 end, was 40.8 per cent. And the bank’s retail deposit formed 74 per cent of the total deposits.
Bandhan Bank said that it recorded one per cent increase in its pan India collection efficiency, excluding nonperforming assets and including restructured customers, up from 96 per cent at June 2022 quarter end.
Also, the lender said that the figures mentioned as on 30 September 2022 are provisional and unaudited numbers. They are subject to review /examination by the Audit Committee and board of directors.
