Celesta Capital appoints Anita Rehman as a Partner

International multi-stage venture capital firm Celesta Capital has on-boarded Anita Rehman as a partner on Thursday. She will be based in Bangalore, where the firm maintains its India office, and will also spend time at the firm’s Bay Area headquarters, the company said in a press statement.

Earlier, Rehman was a Partner at the global investment platform GSV (Global Silicon Valley), which focuses on the education and workforce sectors. “I am excited to join the accomplished team at Celesta Capital and contribute to the advancement of this promising global portfolio. I share Celesta’s passion for building impactful technology companies. Early in her career, Rehman invested in early- to growth-stage technology businesses with Vantage Point Capital Partners and a CleanTech Venture Capital Fund. She has also founded and led a vertically integrated e-commerce firm in the past.
