RBI Central Board Discuss Ongoing Geopolitical Crises, Economic Situation

The Central Board of the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) reviewed the prevailing economic situation, global and domestic challenges in a meeting on 31 October. The overall impact of the existing geopolitical crises also formed part of the discussion.
The RBI in a statement said. “The Board also discussed the functioning of various Sub-Committees of the Central Board, Ombudsman Scheme and activities of select Central Office Departments.”

The Deputy Governors RBI Mahesh Kumar Jain, Michael Debabrata Patra, M. Rajeshwar Rao, T. Rabi Sankar, Department of Economic Affairs Secretary Ajay Seth and directors of the Central Board viz. Satish K. Marathe, S. Gurumurthy, Revathy Iyer, Sachin Chaturvedi, Venu Srinivasan, Pankaj Ramanbhai Patel and Ravindra H. Dholakia also marked their presence in the meeting.
