REC has announced the appointment of Harsh Baweja as Director (Finance), Additional Director and Chief Financial Officer (CFO), effective May 14, 2024. The Ministry of Power, through an order dated May 14, 2024, has appointed Harsh Baweja as Director (Finance) at REC, with a pay scale of 1,80,000-3,40,000 (IDA). This appointment will be effective from the date he assumes the role until his retirement on January 31, 2026, or until further notice, whichever comes first, as stated in the exchange filing.
Harsh Baweja is a Chartered Accountant with a 33-year career in managing financial operations across various institutions. As a Fellow Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) and holder of a Diploma in Information Systems Audit from ICAI, he has a proven track record of navigating complex financial environments.
