Solara Active Appoints PV Raghvendra Rao As New CFO

Solara Active Pharma Sciences has appointed PV Raghavendra Rao its new chief financial officer (CFO), effective from 26 October. He was earlier the CFO at Sequent Scientific.
Rao has about 23 years of experience as a chartered accountant. He has formerly served as CFO for Sequent Scientific. He has also spent over 14 years working for organisations like Macleods Pharmaceuticals and Dr Reddy’s Laboratories, handling various financial roles in these organisations.
According to the company, Rao will be managing manufacturing facilities spread out throughout both India and other countries as well as experience in strategy, identifying movements and managing strategy deployment procedures.
The promoters of Solara Active Pharma, Karuna Business Solutions, sold a 2.04 per cent ownership in the business on 7 September. In the block transaction, Spiracca Ventures purchased the share for Rs 270.54 crore.
