Sophos Appoints Joe Levy As Permanent CEO And Welcomes New CFO
Levy, who took on the role of acting CEO in February, is now officially appointed as the company’s first new chief executive in over a decade
Sophos, the cybersecurity vendor, has made things official for Levy, who was named acting Chief Executive Officer (CEO) in February, and has also hired Imperva’s Chief Financial Officer (CFO), Jim Dildine.
Levy, who was named acting CEO in February, is now officially the company’s first new CEO in almost a decade. He succeeded Kris Hagerman, who was CEO of Sophos from late 2012 until February, when he resigned for undisclosed reasons.
Dildine had been the CFO at Imperva, a cybersecurity provider, since 2019. Dildine was CFO at Symantec before joining Imperva and she was also senior vice president of finance and chief accounting officer at Blue Coat.
