Jitendra Emmani Joins Cosmofeed
In his new role, Jitendra would spearhead various initiatives to drive the rapid growth at Cosmofeed and make it India’s largest monetisation and value creation platform for content creators
Cosmofeed, a creator-focused monetization platform, has announced that it has appointed Jitendra Emmani as Head of Product-led Growth as it mulls a significant expansion plan in an estimated $100-billion creator economy space in India. In his new role, Jitendra would spearhead various initiatives to drive the rapid growth at Cosmofeed and make it India’s largest monetization and value creation platform for content creators.
He would work towards adding value to the creators and users on the platform and helping them grow. Before joining Cosmofeed, Jitendra cofounded Picxy, India’s largest stock photo company. He built a massive network of over three lakh photographers at Picxy and scaled it up to more than three million images. Jitendra envisions replicating a similar success story at Cosmofeed.
With over a decade of experience, Jitendra has worked with several Fortune 50 companies like Amazon and Citi Group in the US and moved back to India in 2018 to build products for Indian consumers. On joining Cosmofeed, Jitendra said, “Cosmofeed is working with a shared vision of helping global creators engage, grow and monetize their communities. The Indian creator economy has enormous potential but is largely untapped, a problem that Cosmofeed is trying to solve and will be at the core of this revolution.”
He added,” The creators have spent enough time and efforts on social media platforms that do not provide any tools to monetize. However, Cosmofeed is an excellent place to make earnings that can make them quit their jobs and transition into full-time creators.” Founded in September 2021 by Vivek Yadav and Vishnu Pathak, Cosmofeed helps creators and influencers monetize and manage their audiences. The app-based startup allows creators to build premium groups, manage or host online events with one click, and connect with audiences instantly.
In less than ten months of inception, Cosmofeed has acquired over 3.5 lakh users and created a 1000+ strong network of creators looking to monetize their services. On Jitendra’s joining Cosmofeed, its founder Vivek Yadav said, “Jiten joins us with tons of experience in building a successful vertical platform for creators. His insights and work will be crucial as we look toward doubling our efforts on product-led growth. His time spent with creators and independents in the previous avatar helps us define features while understanding the need gap for the end user quickly. We are excited to welcome him on the board to use his expertise and passion to support and build for creators – this time horizontally.”
Cosmofeed is based in Gurugarm and has so far raised $1.5 million in seed funding from growX ventures, Waveform Ventures, 9Unicorns, Singapore-based investment holding company Silk Bridge Partners (SBP), and several other angel investors, including Swati Mohan, former CMO – Netflix India.
